Well its official... On Tuesday April 7th fede received his citizenship. He will still have his Argentine citizenship and really the only difference is he can vote or run for office (just not the president). For us the real benefit is not ever having to re-apply for his residency every 10 yrs or so. tha could get expensive.
They gave all the kids a little flag before it started. Dante was so excited but he broke his before it even started and was freaking out that he needed a new one to say the pledge of allegiance. It was very simple just an oath then the pledge. Fede was really excited and touched by the whole thing.
Afterwards, we went to red robin to celebrate with a burger, fries and a milkshake. classic americana.
So upon our return to the house we realized that it was 8 yrs ago EXACTLY on April 7th that we first met in Provo. Amazing.
