Our Grand Adventure to North Dakota

We started our Grand Adventure renting a car to take Cecelia to Provo to drop off her stuff
and then to the airport to fly home
and then to take us to the SLC airport to fly to North Dakota to see Fede.
Of course we had to get some candy and Orange Soda for Dante because according to him
that is what we do on road trips.
Of course we had to stop and see Ronnie and Steve and the kiddos
Eli and Dante had fun playing on his 4 wheeler toy. Dante was so brave I was proud.
Fede called me the next morning to tell me ( 4 hrs before my flight) that he wouldn't be able to pick me up in Bismarck ND and I needed to find a way to get form Bismarck to Noonan 3 hrs away. I thougth no prob I will get a bus or something. yeah .... no luck. There is only one bus once a week and I would miss it by 1 hr. There is no train. There were Taxi's for $300 or I could rent the last car for about $150 if i could have it back within 24 hrs. So i decided finally to just get a hotel that had a shuttle from the airport and have Fede pick me up in the morning. BUt by the time i decided that I had made myself late and missed my(our) flight!!! I as so upset. I was charged another day for getting the rental car in late (they later refunded that after 10 calls to customer service) and had to pay to change our tickets. We hung out in the airport for 6 hours and got on our flight. We were so relieved to finally get to our hotel and Fede showed up at 2 am to get some rest before we had to head to Noonan in the am. We were so excited to see papa's new place. we didn't take very many photos but here's the lobby area of the lodging. Here is Fede cooking us breakfast in the Kitchen. The restaurant is awesome and doing great. Our cook is awesome. People love the food and we are working on improving the ambiance. Think nursing homes and oatmeal trying to sell Ensenada Camerones a la diabla. We are so excited to update the place.
We worked like crazy cleaning the hotel/lodging and running the restaurant. We slept in a camper-trailer b/c all the rooms were booked. We were definitely ready to start our 18 hr drive home. But first we had to stop and stock up on candy and Orange soda. Dante had enough Orange soda this week to turn him orange head to toe. Here we are at the border crossing into Montana then we had to drive down through Wyoming (where I almost ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere)
