California 2010 Fun and not so much sun

we all took the long drive to cali together to see some of my best friends and their new babies and spend time with family. It was a packed trip but definitely worth it. and had a great time reminiscing about past trips. it has been a long time since we've driven it. Dante did great though sleeping or playing quietly in the back. I was very proud since its not the most comfortable seating in our truck. but he was so excited to go see grandma, the cousins and his friend Gabe that he would have endured
anything I think.

Fede only was able to stay one day and then he was off to Argentina to see his family. Dante was so sad when he realized he was not going as well. He mad epapa promis not to go to the beach with abuela b/c that what he did with her last time. it was so sad but cute.

And he misses papa like crazy. But, we are doing lots of fun things here without him. Like...
Learning to skate with gabe.
On monday we were able to hang out with becky and mike and their 2 kids while baby eli was at home with grandma.
We had a full day starting with the skate park in the morning, donuts for breakfast and shopping while the kids went crazy and got all dirty and ate candy after stealing quarters from our purses. Little malia was a crack up so determined to get all my lip glosses out and put them ll over her face. SHe is a nut ball and so precious!and playing iron man for hours after that. Dante was not so sure about the sakteboarding. Gabe rips it up but dante is going to take some warming up to the whole thing i think. But iron man that he can get into. Dante and gabe play together like best buds and are right there in that superhero world together. Hopefully they are fighting evil and not other kids though. ( right paige!) Dante told me Gabe is his favorite dude. It is always so good to spend quality time with my best friend Bex. And its even funner to see our kids lve wach other. Especially when malia tries putting th emoves on Dante (J/K she was just being sweet and putting her arm around him and offering her snacks to him he may be timid but the ladies love it!

Speaking of Ladies... I also got the chance to go visit my other best friend Mindy in simi and see her new baby girl blessed> I love being around her family and getting caught up seeing her home again remembering the days of yore. Good times. Good, good, good. Her little 3 year old girl Ryan cute as a bug. Developed a little crush on Dante while we were there and even did the silly ditzy girl laugh when he was talking to her. it was hilarious. Like i said the ladies love a shy guy i guess.

It was so good to spend time with you girls.
