Easter Fun

The day before easter we went to our English ward's easter egg hunt. of course every time there is something fun to do I over plan and Dante falls asleep. so he woke up quite grumpy and didn't want to play. He did start to get into the easter egg hunt about the time the big kids had gotten all the eggs already. He didn't even care he just wanted some more candy. That day I decide dI was not going to fight him on the eating thing. He's been eating really well and finally gaining weight so I thought I'd let him eat what he wants that day. Fede was out of town working so it was like a party just the two of us. I mean come on whats the big deal right?
Well I learned my lesson. about 2 am He wakes up crying I got in his room and he says "owie". I go to hug him and see whats wrong and BARF! he throws up all over both of us. When I turn on the light I see he's already filled his whole bed with throw up that has dried so he must have slept in it for awhile. Poor baby! I cleaned him up and he slept with me the rest of the night. He slept not me. (he's a snorer) In the morning I had to clean it all up and he woke up around 10 am and finally saw his easter stuff. didn't eat any more candy. He would open them up and not eat it. so funny. I guess he learned his lesson too.

We had dinner that night with our new friends down the street the Walls. Caitlin is 3 and Dante just adores her. When we drive by her house he yells "Hi caitlin!" over and over. Here he is reading her his favorite stories.


I made my favorite easter basket cupcakes but I was short an egg and the recipe turned out funny. Bummer!
