I almost wrote 2008 in symbols and thought it would be fun to do all numbers and dates as symbols...@))*. Then it looks like your really angry.
Anyways... I am a little behind as you can see the photos I added yesterday were from christmas mostly. But there really hasn't been that much to document. Time is going too quickly and we are trying to catch up. I thought I should put a little update on here. since soon I will be adding photos.
here's the highlights thus far:
Fede's new job-Fede started working for an Oil and Gas service company to see if that is a career he wants to go into. He is still doing loans for Champion Bank and has me processing his loans. Fun for me.
Marsha working part time still.- I am working mornings at an Oil company also while Dante goes and plays with different friends everyday. He likes it and I'm happy as long as I can play with him in the afternoons and have time to clean my house.
Dante's first kite-I like having the afternoons to play with Dante. the other day it was windy but nice so we took his new $1 Buzz lightyear kite to the park and had a blast. he did really good. After about 45 minutes he decided to let go and we had a Charlie Brown moment. it was so cute though. he kept talking about the "twee" eating "buzzz". The next day I really crashed it and its still in the tree.
Babysitting Brutus- We are watching a friend's puppy for 3 weeks. For those of you who know us at all you know we are not Dog people. If you think I'm kind of aclean freak you should meet my husband federico... Dogs always conjure up stinky messy images in my mind. But I met brutus and just had to do it. He's a 6wk old english bulldog from colombia. He is so cute but very crazy ...lets just say he needs alot of attention. It 's more work than a new baby I think.
Scrapbooking fast- So the one feat I am very proud of is completing my 2007 album in one night. well 2 actually. I pre-design calender pages for the whole year and then I just add in the pics when I get them. I was so excited to actually do it. Now I know it can be done. I have crop clubs at my house twice a month and that's really all the time I spend scrapbooking but I love my albums and we have fun looking at them. Dante loves it. I really love helping other people get the same joy out of it when they thought it was impossible or unimportant.
Now my scrapbooking dilemna is I really want to start making digital Albums. They have such great options, and its so easy and fast (checkout www.mycmcsite.com/marsha1 look up storybooks) but i don't have any exciting events. That is my goal for 2008 get more exciting and then remember to take pictures!
As I type this I just got some ideas. A birthday book for dante, our trip to cali (as rushed as it was) , I already did Argentina but maybe I should make one for fede's family...Good ideas.
Now I just have to sit down and do them.
I seriously have issues with not scrapbooking. You don't have to call it that but everyone should be making photos albums and documenting thier stories in writing. Thats the bare minimum. the rest is just gravy or frosting what ever you like to call it.
No more cable-so fede and I decided we were wassitng our time and money trying to watch everything on TV. So I canceled the cable. I prefer watching TV online now and you can get most things. (but no american Idol you have to try and find that on youtube or watch it live) It is so hard after TIVO or a DVR to go back to watching shows at a set time and waiting through commercials, so that is my solution. (sidenote: ABC has the best access, NBC and CBS really need to catch up) The only thing we miss is the wide world of soccer 24 hrs a day (I don't miss it really, hmm, what a shame...) and Project Runway. I'm contemplateing whether or not to pay to watch the last 3episodes...I am hoping this will help with my TV addiction. At least now I get to be in control of when and where I watch with our Laptop. so much nicer!

Marsha, marsha, marsha, so good to hear from you. I love this blogging thing. It has gotten me back in touch with so many people! Looks like you guys are great! Dante is so cute! I will add you to my blog so that we can keep in touch!-Amy Freeman(sims)
Hello beautiful girl! Your family is oh so cute ... it is fun to find people on blogs. I found yours from Amy Sims. I have a suggestion with the digital albums, it doesn't matter which company you print with as long as they print through Kodak. They give a warmer color than the other photo companies.
MARSHA!!! So glad you found us through Jamie. I'm so proud of myself--this blogging thing has helped me keep a consistent journal for 7 months! and it's a great way to keep in touch with my family now that they are grown up. Christine is 13 now, can you believe it. I left another comment for you on my blog under yours.
Love YOU!
Hey! Good to hear from you! Your little boy is too cute! What the heck have you been up to? I hope all is well with you and your family!
I am so happy to be reconnected with you all. Its helping me with my california homesickness!
I don't know if its getting older or what but I have had a strong desire to reconnect with people. I guess thats what happens when you let yourself lose all contact with old friends. And then my parents had to move so I don't even get to visit the old live oak ward. Well I am slowly but surely adding you all to my blog list so we can check in on each other. LOVE IT!
